I love this watch so much. It serves all the purposes an athlete would need. I've gone running with this in temp ranges from 7 degrees to 104 degrees without issue. I've benefitted from the default watch face which gives the user insight into their current training load which is motivating. It also recommends activities based on your past training routines and where your gaps are. My only complaints around this model is that if you are very active, expect to charge your watch every other day. Also wish it had maps.
I've recently upgraded to a Fenix 6x Sapphire. The main reason for this was the Golf feature and the bigger face. While the 745 does everything I needed, I found that the bigger face on the 6x is easier for me to quickly read stats on mid run. I also like the map function for trail running and/or running courses prior to races when the turns aren't as evident.
