Big turn out for this small town 5K!
I had a great time kicking off the Scio Summer Fest and participating in this 40 year anniversary race!
Easy directions, free parking close to the event, and organized packet pick up.
Gun start, chip finish for this flat and fast 5K out and back primarily on a running path.
Plenty of volunteers to keep you safe and a water station at approx miles 1 & 3.
$20 registration fee is a welcome surprise!
All runners get a SS cotton shirt, goody bag, ice cream, and beer!
Top 3 overall and age group winners earn a finishers medal!
Fun festival after with live music, food trucks, vendors, and a beer garden.
I look forward to doing this one again!
