I have used this in workouts and for my first marathon where I ran a 2:49. It’s a great supplement. I can only take around half a bottle because the extreme energy ones have 250 mg. However, they do sell ones with just 100 mg caffeine. These actually taste good, I really dislike when I try something for running and it tastes gross. It’s easy going down, like the consistency of a Gatorade. I take it like a pre-workout around 15 min before I run. Very happy with it. Don’t take too much caffeine though because it might cause GI upset.
